Abstract:A series of 3-(5-substituted phenyl-1, 3, 4-Oxadiazol-2yl) pyridines was designed, synthesized and characterized for evaluation of potential antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis, Staphylococcus aureus, Escherichia coli, Klebsiella species and antifungal activity against Candida albicans.
