Klotho Regulation of TRPC Channels Involving Human Breast Cancer Cell Migration

Abstract: Klotho is a mammalian aging‐suppression gene and function as a suppressor of cancer. Here, we investigated the molecular mechanism of Klotho regulation of TRPC channels involving human breast cancer cell migration. Serum‐induced activation of TRPC and cell migration was specifically blocked by TRPC channel inhibitor, SKF96365, but not by voltage‐gated Ca2+ channel inhibitor, nimodipine.
