“…Indeed, cuff pressures outside the target range are common, [27][28][29] and the frequency with which cuff pressure is measured and adjusted varies from never to at most every 8 hours. [30][31][32][33] Additionally, cuff pressure is often evaluated by using finger palpation. 30 Several investigators [34][35][36] have reported the inability of clinicians to adequately estimate cuff pressure by using finger palpation, and this practice generally results in excessive pressures.…”

“…Kito tyrimo (2015) metu apie trečdalis Intensyvios terapijos slaugytojų nurodė palaikantys slėgį manžetėje 25 mmHg (36 proc.) ir 30 mmHg ( 32 proc) [24]. Mūsų tyrimo metu slaugytojų grupėje, kurie turėjo universitetinį išsimokslinimą, po mokymo reikšmingai didesnė dalis nurodė tracheostomos manžetės slėgį 15-25 cmH 2 O. Atliktų tyrimų rezultatai teigia, kad mažas endotrachėjinio vamzdelio manžetės slėgis (<15 mmHg) didina mikroaspiracijos ir ventiliacinės pneumonijos riziką [6,9,11,18], didelis endotrachėjinio vamzdelio slėgis (>30-35 mmHg) -didina trachėjos sienelės pažeidimo riziką [6].…”

“…Kito tyrimo (2015) rezultatai atskleidė, kad dauguma (76 proc.) ITS slaugytojų vamzdelio manžetės slėgį matuoja manometru [24]. Mūsų tyrimo metu po mokymo statistišk -kai reikšmingai daugiau slaugytojų (44,4 proc.)…”
