Abstract:The business rescue law, in the South African Companies Act, No. 71 of 2008 was designed to alleviate the challenges facing distressed companies. The purpose of the paper is to provide a coherent synthesis of the systematic literature review on the incorporation of knowledge management into the business rescue practices in South Africa.
