Knowledge Management Systems in the Public Sector: Critical Issues

Abstract

Abstract-The transition from traditional government to e-government and from there to open government is connected with the burgeoning data and the appearance of open public data. It is significant to re-engineer solutions in the field of knowledge recovery and management, taking into account the semantic dimension of the data. In this paper, we present the concepts of knowledge, knowledge management and knowledge management systems. We also propose relevant architecture and present conclusions from the development of the ontology of e-government in Proté gé .

Agile Mechanisms for Open Data Process Innovation in Public Sector Organizations
