Knowledge production, communication and utilization: studying biomedical alcohol research

Abstract: PurposeA growing body of social research analyzes how the biomedical interest in detailed molecular aspects of people's bodies (genes, biomarkers, DNA) affect everyday notions of health, risk, and responsibility for health problems.
