Abstract: Abgesehen von ihrem Einsatz bei der Sauerstoffreduktionsreaktion (ORR) in Brennstoffzellen sind metallfreie Katalysatoren auf Kohlenstoffbasis auch als Ersatz für Edelmetall‐ oder Metalloxid‐Katalysatoren bei der Sauerstoffentwicklungsreaktion (OER) in Metall‐Luft‐Batterien sowie der Wasserstoffentwicklungsreaktion (HER) der Wasserspaltung von Interesse.
