Abstract:We studied the topological features in Kondo insulator SmB 6 by point-contact Andreev reflection spectroscopy with a Nb probe tip. Below the superconducting transition of Nb, the spectra exhibited a narrow dip at around zero bias superposed on a broad asymmetric background caused by the Kondo resonance. The contact-size dependence of the spectra revealed that the width of the resonance is suppressed near the surface. The spin polarization in the surface state was ∼0.56, which is smaller than that in Bi-based t… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
