Houses are part of the ancestral heritage. Therefore, the preservation of traditional houses is proof that the community maintains the existence of its group identity, likewise to the conventional house of the Osing tribe in Kemiren Village. The preservation of the Osing tribe's traditional house by the community not only maintain the existence of the Osing tribe but also becomes the tourism sector. Therefore, it becomes interesting to study and research more deeply in the study of the sociology of tourism more. This study aims to determine the construction models of the Osing traditional house, the function and philosophy of the structure of the Osing traditional house and the efforts to preserve the Osing traditional house. The research method used is a qualitative method with a descriptive approach. Data collection techniques are observation, interviews and literature study. The results of this study indicate that the Osing tribe in Kemiren village has three house models, which at that time described the social classes of the people who lived in the house. To preserve and increase tourism in Kemiren village, the community built traditional houses, some of which were managed by the community to be used as lodging places for tourists visiting Kemiren village.

Kemiren Village is one of tourist villages. It is located in the eastern tip of East Java province. It was chosen as the traditional tourism village of the Osing tribe because Kemiren village was still very substantial in maintaining the preservation of Osing customs, traditions, arts and culture, and the pattern of the social life of its people. This form of local wisdom was manifested in various aspects of life, both in the sacred and profane realms. Various traditional rituals continued today, such as the barong ider bumi ritual, tumpeng sewu, ten ewu coffee and the gedhogan festival which conveyed the meaning of gratitude for crops, asking for protection from epidemics and diseases as well as brotherhood with fellow villagers and guests who attend the event. The people of Osing Kemiren village have still maintained the preservation of customary law to this day, both in matters of marriage and inheritance. The information technology era that was currently developing has had a positive effect on the people of Osing Kemiren village, namely to promote Osing Kemiren village as a tourist village, as well as to encourage progress in other public services. However, it does not affect behavior in daily life as well as customary laws and habits that apply among the Kemiren village community. The Osing Indigenous Community is one of ethnic that exist in Kemiren, Banyuwangi, East Java. They have a unique culture that form local wisdom values. One of these is Barong Ider Bumi. This research aims to explore cultural resilience by investigating the local wisdom contained in the Barong Ider Bumi Tradition. This research was conducted using a qualitative and case study method. All data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis. The research shows that Barong Ider Bumi is not only a traditional performance, but also contains deep local wisdom values such as mutual cooperation, helping each other, and belief in God. This tradition reflects the cultural resilience of the Osing people and their close relationship with humans, nature, and ancestral spirits. The research also identified challenges and opportunities in maintaining the continuity of Barong Ider Bumi amidst the dynamics of changing times and modernization. By understanding the values of local wisdom and adhering to traditional policies, it is hoped that the Osing people can maintain and develop their cultural heritage as an integral part of local identity. Overall, this research makes an important contribution to understanding the role of local wisdom in maintaining and strengthening cultural resilience. The implications can be used as a basis for efforts to preserve and develop traditional culture, as well as to provide inspiration to the Osing community and similar groups to maintain and enrich their cultural heritage.
