To benchmark the performance of the Bus System (BS), Performance Measurement Systems (PMSs) should be used. In that regard, this contribution reviews the advancement of the standard PMSs used globally: Key Performance Indicators (KPIs). This research will further identify the BS that has a record of effective performance throughout their operations. With reference from the experiences in benchmarking, we have presented a literature review of KPIs and evaluated inputs to confirm that KPIs are a standardized approach used to compare and identify the performances of best practices for BS participation. The practical experience with the systems has potentially identified various critical issues in collecting comparable and consistent data. Dealing with these issues, giving the comparable information and undertaking essential study to comprehend and point out the basis for effective performance is considered a process which provides lessons for considerable benchmarking practices. This paper further evaluates the rules of the benchmarking processes, the PMSs of the BS, the overall challenges faced when collecting data and lastly, the findings of the benchmarking practice.

To enhance the quality of higher education institutions (HEIs), key performance indicators (KPIs) must be explored and measured. KPIs deems as a measurable value which explains the effectiveness of an institution and how it is achieving key objectives. Institutions use KPIs for ensuring that they are going on the right way or not. Many of the indicators for HEIs have been developed before, but the main question is how to choose the indicators that fit the institution for achieving goals and how to measure these indicators. This paper provides a model to explore and measure KPIs using text mining and feature extraction technique and measure indicators automatically rather than traditional methods of exploring based a questionnaire, we measure KPIs to know the impact of exploring these KPIs on the overall performance in HEIs.

The utilization of ICT as a teaching–learning tool continues to be very popular in Thai primary schools. However, technology impact assessments are not always properly carried out, and the benefits of using ICT in primary education are not always clear. The aim of this paper is to assess whether the use of ICT has an impact on student performance compared to when such technology is not used. In the results from the two experimental units, the researchers find no significant effects of ICT usage on student performance either in classroom behaviors or in improvement scores. On further inspection of influential factors for ICT adoption, the results show that only subjective norm has a significant effect on the students' classroom behaviors. In contrast to the previous literature and conventional beliefs, the researchers found that ICT is not always an effective teaching–learning tool regardless of the educational level of students.
