Kuakata Reimagined

Abstract

Kuakata is a naturally gifted tourist spot in the Patuakhali district in the southern region of Bangladesh. It is particularly famous for its beautiful sunrise and sunset view over the Bay of Bengal. We aim to predict Kuakata's economic performance and prospects as the best tourist destination, as indicated in the literature review. The main aspects cover natural resources, archeological and historical points of interest, and current construction and improvements to tourist attractions and amenities. The outcome of our chapter on the elements of decision-making in the choice of strategies for theme park business reveals long-term planning, new attraction, partnership with the private sector, active community involvement, and technological innovation as fundamental strategies for economic growth. It is suggested that more focus must be given to sustainability, promotion, training, and extensive study. Thus, addressing these aspects, Kuakata can go for balanced development with economic upliftment and set its place as one of the most significant tourist spots in the face of Bangladesh.
