During the last ten years, we have been aware of Middle Bronze Age discoveries, a small hoard of palstaves at Besné and two groups of armlets of Bignan type at Derval and Conquereuil. They confirm the known distribution maps : the palstaves one is general and homogeneous while the armlets one is concentrated between Rennes and Derval along the Vilaine river and its eastem tributaries. Perhaps the limited area of the Bignan armlets is correlated with a particular society.
