“L’anthropo_scenes”: memes at the service of animal interests

Abstract

This article looks back at a pedagogical experiment with master’s students on the creation of digital content on an Instagram page entitled “L’anthropo_scenes.” It is dedicated to the creation of memes on animals, whom are assigned to a subalternity that allow all kinds of human domination. The hypothesis that guides this exercise is that designing them from another angle is likely to foster consideration and encourage fellings that are more favorable to them (esteem, respect, empathy).
