online. The Cape marigold (Arctotheca calendula): a new exotic species for the Algerian flora.-The authors report the recent discovery in Algeria of a xenophyte belonging to the Asteraceae. Arctotheca calendula, native to South Africa, was observed for the first time, in the northeast of the country (Oriental Numidia).
