Abstract:Eosinophilic esophagitis (EoE) is a pathology that is enjoying increasing interest in the pediatric field. The onset symptom may be vague and a diagnostic delay until the full manifestation of severe and acute dysphagia may occur. The endoscopic and histological pictures, at that point, can be very significant. Starting from two cases we have observed, we retrace some fundamental elements of the diagnosis and treatment of EoE.
