L-shell X-ray production cross sections of selected lanthanoids by impact of 7Li2+ ions with energies between 3.50MeV and 5.25MeV

Therefore, in a previous work [8] the proposal of a universal scaling was presented for experimental L a x-ray production cross sections (XRPCS) induced by the impact of several ions ( 4 He, 7 Li, 10 B, 12 C, 16 O and 19 F). To continue on this course, the goal of the present work is to apply the same scaling to other ions ( 9 Be and 14 N) for which more recent experimental results were obtained [10,11], and the addition of the exhaustive compilation published for 4 He ions [7].…”

Evaluation of L-shell X-ray production cross sections by impact of [sup 4]He[sup +] ions
