L-type amino acid transporter 1 is essential for Th2 cell-mediated allergic inflammation

Abstract: L-type amino acid transporter 1 (LAT1), a transporter of large neutral amino acids, is rarely expressed in resting T cells, whereas its expression is remarkably upregulated upon activation.
