“…Tradicionalmente, el TDAH ha sido considerado como un trastorno de carácter neurobiológico y, dada esta condición, ha sido abordado desde el punto de vista biológico-médico, proceso que inicia con un diagnóstico hacia el individuo que, presuntamente, presenta el 'problema', sin tener en cuenta perspectivas más incluyentes que abarquen a toda la familia; es decir, una visión más sistémica para su abordaje. En este sentido, enfoques excesivamente biomédicos priorizan el manejo del trastorno con medicamentos, descuidando otros factores que intervienen y hacen parte del proceso del TDAH, situación que reduce la problemática a una visión excesivamente neurológica (Vargas y Parales, 2017). Además, investigaciones como la de López-Villalobos, Sacristán -Martín, Garrido -Redondo, Martínez -Rivera, López -Sánchez, Rodríguez -Molinero, Camina -Gutiérrez y Andrés -de Llano (2019), encontraron que la medicación logra mejoras en el ámbito escolar, mas no arroja tamaños del efecto significativos en otras áreas afectadas como el bienestar psicológico, estado de ánimo y calidad de vida.…”
