“…No significant differences were observed between both samples at ceria and zirconia catalysts, consistent with their basic nature [59,71,72]. The RhPt/La2O3 behavior is ascribed to the La hydrides reaction with oxygen, which is favored in the presence of active metals, as was found in the oxidation/reduction cycles of this support (Section 2.4.1) [30,73]. However, no important differences were recorded between reduced and aged samples, showing that this La hydrides decomposition on the support is the main weight loss cause.…”

“…In the La 2 O 3 + vapor results, the typical La 3d 5/2 and 3d 3/2 XPS peaks were detected at 835.08 and 851.98 eV with ∆u" of 16.9 eV. Contrarily, the La 3d 5/2 and 3d 3/2 peaks of La + vapor samples were observed to have higher binding energies than that of La 2 O 3 + vapor with 836.51 (∆v' to La(OH) 3 MENPs was 1.43) and 853.31 eV (∆v" to La(OH) 3 MENPs was 1.33) and the spin-orbit split was 16.8 eV(∆u') [35]. The results prove that the SAA technology is a green and efficient method to produce La(OH) 3 MENPs, as compared to the wet chemistry synthesis method.…”

“…As no significant weight loss was observed from ~200 to 900 °C, the exotherm peaked at ~585 °C on the DSC curve thus arises from a re-constructive phase transition from the NaLu(WO 4 ) 2 of an unknown crystal structure to tetragonal NaLu(WO 4 ) 2 . Quite different from NaLa(WO 4 ) 2 ·2H 2 O, FTIR spectroscopy ( Figure S8) Figure 4 , which are known to arise from the bending and stretching vibrations of water molecules, respectively [33]. The bands at ~3525 and 605 cm −1 can be well assigned to the stretching and bending vibrations of hydroxyls, respectively [34] The time-course phase and morphology evolutions of NaLa(WO 4 ) 2 were studied at 200 °C and pH=8, and 6(a)) but the diffraction peaks shift successively to the higher angle side with decreasing ionic size of Ln, as shown in Figure 6(b) with the (112) main diffraction as an example.…”
