Abstract: Tras romper sus relaciones con Hungría en 1941, en vísperas de su ingreso en la Segunda Guerra Mundial, México no restableció sus relaciones diplomáticas con este país —al igual que con gran parte de Europa Centro-Oriental— hasta mediados de la década de 1970.
