Abstract: Phénomène emblématique du Néolithique, le mégalithisme fait l’objet de recherche depuis plus d’un siècle en France. Les méthodes d’étude de ces architectures n’ont eu de cesse d’évoluer depuis les années 1950, en cherchant petit à petit à sortir de la chambre sépulcrale pour s’intéresser à la masse tumulaire puis à l’environnement des monuments.
