Label-free colorimetric estimation of proteins using nanoparticles of silver

Abstract: Metallic nanoparticles have received considerable attention in bioassays and diagnostics due to their unique surface plasmon resonance (SPR) properties. Gold nanoparticles have been employed for the development of SPR-based colorimetric bioassays.
