Laboratory research of geomechanical parameters of sedimentary rocks massifs in the South Sakhalin

Abstract: The paper presents the laboratory research of the strain and strength properties of terrigeneous sedimentary cores received from South Sakhalin outcrops. We have compared geomechanical parameters calculated on the base of deep drilling logging data with the results of laboratory experiment. Satisfactory correspondence of laboratory and logging based data has been found.
