Laboratory Study on Mass Transfer of ASP Flooding

Abstract: The synergic effect of alkali, surfactant and polymer is applied in ASP flooding. ASP flooding is a very complex physical-chemical process, the fluid flow and mass transfer of chemicals in porous media are two major theoretical problems. A physical modeling system of long slim tube was established in present research to study mass transfer of ASP flooding in reservoir condition. Several measuring pressure and sampling points were laid out at different positions along the tube. Through real-time measurement of … Show more

“…Many studies have been conducted to observe and statistically analyze the emerging magnetic flux of ERs. But they have given different magnetic flux ranges, such as 1.5 × 10 19 Mx (Wang 1988), 2.5 × 10 19 Mx (Martin & GINGA Team 1990), 5.0 × 10 19 Mx (Wang et al 1992), and 1.3 × 10 19 Mx (Schrijver et al 1997) based on magnetic measurements from different instruments. Using data from the Helioseismic and Magnetic Imager (HMI) on board the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO), Yang (2014) find that during the process of emergence, ERs display three kinds of kinematic performances: separation, shift of the polarities' center, and rotation of the ER's axis.…”
