“…The study of UHI has developed in several countries because it has caused various impacts, especially the increase in energy requirements for buildings in urban areas to reduce the effects of UHI [13]. In Tangerang City, Indonesia, research by Setyaningrum et al shows that there is a strong relationship between dense areas with tall buildings and the UHI phenomenon [14]. Pekanbaru City itself shows a very fast population growth rate which is followed by the addition of built-up land such as residential and industrial areas which can trigger the UHI phenomenon in the Pekanbaru City area, so an identification study is needed.…”
