Language play techniques in mass media

Abstract: The article analyzes graphic occasionalisms created through the graphic instruments of language play. The material for the study includes the new formations taken from the texts of the modern Russian-language publicistic discourse. The studied material shows that capitalization as one of the techniques of graphic language play is widely represented in the texts of mass media.
