“…It is possible to approach a language-related topic from a sociocultural perspective with a mixed methodology and this could be seen as a conclusion suggested by the way the studies were designed. Gagné and Parks, 2013;Juffs and Friedline, 2014;Korenev et al, 2016;Monforte and Ceballos, 2014;Myhill and Wilson, 2013;Prevoo et al,2013 achieved this goal and their results show a more comprehensive and deep view. This is a key issue for future research, as mixed research would facilitate the design of longitudinal research, another of the shared suggestions, by allowing more options for gathering and analyzing information.…”

“…The study of context assessment, social use and shared learning experiences have been determinants for measuring the level of the language, and it becomes a recurrent stance in scientific literature on the sociocultural perspective and a language topic (Yang andKim, 2011, Wingyan, 2014). Learning a second language will affect academic contexts, as Korenev et al (2016) stated but its impact is not limited. Ahn (2011) examined the interchange of language and interactions among second language learners outside their academic context.…”

“…There is a view that teacher language proficiency standards should be defined in relation to the particular context of instruction and in light of what is realistic given available training resources in order to deliver lesson content appropriately and effectively. Teacher language tests aim at assessing the teacher in the actual classroom situation (Korenev et al, 2016).…”

“…Por ejemplo, Korenev et al (2016) estudiaron el uso del lenguaje por maestros en clases de inglés como segundo idioma, entre otros asuntos. Estos han notado que una gran cantidad de los maestros que han leído un libro e investigado sobre cómo enseñar un idioma, han cotejado y comentado trabajos escritos por los estudiantes en el idioma inglés y proveen retroalimentación a sus estudiantes luego de presentaciones, entre otros.…”
