Abstract:The more recent cell treatment for type 1 Diabetes is called lantidra. Lantidra has recently received approval to treat type 1 Diabetes mellitus. The first allogeneic (deceased donor) pancreatic islet cell therapy, lantidra (donislecel), was approved by the FDA Centre for Biologics Evaluation and Research (CBER) on June 28, 2023.
