Laparoscopic Appendectomy for Crohn's Disease of the Appendix Presenting as Acute Appendicitis

Abstract: Crohn's disease of the appendix can mimic acute appendicitis, although often with a more indolent course. The disease may be treated successfully by laparoscopic appendectomy, with good long-term results.
