Laparoscopic Insertion of Gastric Electrodes for Electrical Stimulation

Abstract: Gastric electrical stimulation can provide symptomatic relief for patients with refractory gastroparesis. Traditionally, these wires are placed through a midline laparotomy. This paper describes and illustrates, in detail, the laparoscopic technique for successful implantation.
