Laparoscopic surgery-associated massive subcutaneous emphysema requiring mechanical ventilation in a patient with endometriosis: a case report

Abstract: Although subcutaneous emphysema is a common benign complication of laparoscopic surgery, airway obstruction can occur due to pharyngeal emphysema when it extends to the neck.
