“…Omentectomy was performed in 85 % of the laparoscopic and 65 % of the open patients. Similar rates of peritonitis, exit site infections, and catheter migrations were noted, though the time to catheter dysfunction was longer for the laparoscopic group (9 vs. 2.4 months) [170].
