Abstract:Grain-size effect on the conductivity and phase composition of scandia stabilized zirconia ceramics produced from DKKK (Japan) powder with composition 89 mol.% ZrO 2 + 10 mol. % Sc 2 O 3 + 1 mol. % CeO 2 was established. It was shown using Xray phase analysis that decreasing the grain size of ceramics from 16 to 0.6 µm leads to formation of rhombohedral phase. For finegrained material, anisotropic properties of material are fixed clearly in Arrhenius plots of ionic conductivity.

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
