Large Predominantly Solid Variant of Aneurysmal Bone Cyst in the Diaphysis of Femur: A Rare Entity

Abstract: Aneurysmal Bone Cyst (ABC) is a non neoplastic solitary lesion which commonly affects long tubular bones and spine. Most lesions are predominantly cystic, and affect the metaphyseal region in the long bones with extension into the diaphysis but purely diaphyseal lesions are uncommon. In this case report, we describe X-ray and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI)findings in a pathologically proved case of predominantly solid variant of ABC involving the diaphysis of femur.
