Large tree-levelCPviolation ine+e

Abstract: We find a large CP violation effect within the two-Higgs-doublet model for the reaction e+e-+ tUf" at future linear colliders. The CP asymmetry arises already at the tree level as a result of interference between diagrams with Ho emission from t (and q and its emission from a 2' and can be about lo-20 %. In the best case one needs a few hundred tEHO events to observe CP violation at the 3c, level.PACS number(s): 12.6O.Fk, 11.30.Er, 13.65.+i

“…Such a scalar couples to both scalar and pseudoscalar currents: [174][175][176][177][178][179][180][181][182]. Note that unlike our discussion above, the asymmetries here have nothing to do with FCNC processes.…”

“…There also higher-order production processes for the neutral Higgs bosons, some of which are important when it comes to the study their fundamental properties: the ZZ fusion mechanism, the associated production with heavy fermions [492][493][494], the double Higgsstrahlung [144,495,496] as well as some other subleading mechanisms [229,485,486,[497][498][499]; they will be discussed in §4.2. The higher-order processes for charged Higgs production [492,[500][501][502][503][504][505][506] will be presented in §4.3.4.…”

“…This was studied in Ref. [29] for a range of two-Higgs doublet models, and it was found that for roughly 100 fb-l of data at fi = 800 GeV it would be possible to observe a significant CP asymmetry in a number of final-s t at e observables .…”
