Laser-assisted kaon decay and CPT symmetry violation

Abstract: In this paper, we have investigated the charged kaons decay at the lowest order in the presence of a circularly polarized laser field. To be more precise, we have examined the leptonic decay of both positive (matter) and negative (antimatter) kaon which weakly decay via the exchange of W boson. Indeed, we have derived the expression of the leptonic decay width, the leptonic branching ratio, the leptonic ratio and the charged kaon lifetime by using the decay matrix approach. In addition, by using numerical comp… Show more

“…to raise their energies, giving better access to Higgs physics [970]. Some recent work has begun a program of studying treelevel processes, again in circularly polarised, monochromatic plane waves and again investigating Higgs production [971,972,973], as well as kaon decay, CPT symmetry violation [974], Z-boson production [975] and electron-neutrino scattering [976]. There is clearly scope for updating such investigations to include progress made in recent years.…”

“…They first studied laser field effects on relativistic atomic physics scattering processes [2,3]. Then, they studied some laser-assisted weak decay processes [4,5]. Due to the significant advancements achieved by laser technology lately [6], it becomes possible to encourage the laser-assisted production of heavy elementary particles such as neutral higgs pair production [7], charged higgs pair production [8] and Higgsstrahlung production [9].…”

“…Nowadays, such high-power laser systems motivate researchers to study fundamental processes in electroweak and quantum electrodynamics in the presence of a strong electromagnetic field realistic in experiments. Some typical processes in high energy are laser-assisted scattering [12][13][14] and decay processes [15][16][17]. In [18], we have discussed the effect of a strong electromagnetic field with a circular polarization on the cross section of the charged Higgs pair production in the Inert Higgs Doublet Model (IHDM).…”
