Laser-Based Sensor for Combustion Diagnostics in Mid-Infrared 11.56 ─ 15 μm

Abstract: We present a new sensor based on a widely tunable difference-frequency-generation light source emitting in the mid-infrared. We applied this sensor to probe benzene (C6H6) and hydrogen cyanide (HCN) in reactive environments at combustion-relevent conditions.
