Abstract:The present paper is about Kelvin-Helmholtz instability and its visualization using laser-based techniques. The smoke is produced by burning an incense material which acts as a tracer. The flow field is illuminated by a pointer laser by making a laser sheet for recording the image. The images were recorded using a digital mobile camera and were used for further assessment.
