Laser-Compton Source-Driven Nuclear Functional Imaging Via Isotope-Specific Resonance Phenomena

Trevor Reutershan,
C.P.J. Barty

Abstract: Nuclear resonance fluorescence is the process by which atomic nuclei absorb and emit radiation. We discuss the possibility of using laser-Compton sources to interrogate these transitions for isotope selective biological functional imaging.
