Abstract:Laser irradiation of ¢-NaFeO 2 shows local melting and crystal growth from the melt pool and sodium ion conductivity. Local melting, densification, and crystal growth were confirmed on the ¢-NaFeO 2 surface through laser irradiation with a wavelength of 1 µm. Scanning electron microscopy and electron backscatter diffraction analysis confirmed anisotropic grain growth and grain boundary shrinkage in the laserirradiated area. X-ray diffraction results suggested that the laser-irradiated area was in a low crystal… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
