“…Since the 1960s, a great multitude of different lasers, such as the pulsed dye (595 nm), frequency-doubled Nd:YAG (532 nm), Q-switched ruby (694 nm), Q-switched Alexandrite (755 nm), Q-switched Nd:YAG (1064 nm), CO 2 (10,600 nm), and Argon (488-630 nm) diode lasers have been under investigation for the treatment of lentigines solares. All available Q-switched (QS) lasers have been demonstrated to be safe and efficacious in the treatment of lentigines [7] and produce excellent results [8].
