Late Embolism Following Recanalization of Occluded Extracranial Internal Carotid Artery Dissection

Abstract: The clinical course of extracranial internal carotid artery dissection (eICAD) treated with medical therapy alone is usually benign, but late embolism may cause intracranial large artery occlusion (iLAO).
