Late Femoral Component Revision for Femoral Canal Perforation

Abstract: Femoral perforation during total hip arthroplasty is a rare complication. Most of the existing literature regarding the complication involves acutely recognized perforations. We report a case of femoral component revision for a symptomatic femoral perforation 12 years after a primary cementless total hip arthroplasty.
