“…Even with hundreds of published cases of periodic discharges on EEG, with corresponding imaging, diagnosis, and outcome, there is still much debate in human medicine about the origin and clinical implications of various PDs, and particularly whether or not treatment with anti-seizure medication is indicated ( 9 – 11 , 16 , 17 , 24 , 34 – 36 ).
