“…It is helpful to know the extent of utilization and use of forest areas (De Groot et al 2019). The following points are strongly related to the application of forest ecosystem service functions that will have a good impact on the environment: (1) forests have a role as a carbon sink and begin to be in the spotlight when the earth is faced with the problem of global climate change caused (Subhan et al 2021;Wahanisa 2015), (2) awareness of the importance of protecting and preserving the environment has increased along with global climate change, which has become a world issue in recent years (Hyde et al 2022), and (3) global warming, caused by large quantities of carbon dioxide (CO2) gas in the atmosphere (Skytt et al 2020), triggering an increase in the earth's temperature due to the current greenhouse effect (Xu and Cui 2021).…”
