et al.

Abstract: We calculate the soft function using lattice QCD in the framework of large momentum effective theory incorporating the one-loop perturbative contributions. The soft function is a crucial ingredient in the lattice determination of light cone objects using transverse-momentum-dependent (TMD) factorization. It consists of a rapidity-independent part called intrinsic soft function and a rapidity-dependent part called Collins-Soper kernel. We have adopted appropriate normalization when constructing the pseudoscalar… Show more

“…The Collin Soper kernel can be extracted by the evolution of quasi TMDs. As a universal kernel, it can be extracted from various TMD distributions such as the quasi TMD PDF [65], quasi TMD wave function [66,69,81,83] as well as the moments of TMDs [70,71]. It has been extensively explored from lattice calculations in past two years and is in progress towards the precision control.…”

“…The recent calculation from Ref. [82,83] has used NLO matching and is approaching the continuum, physical limit. With all the critical ingredients ready, one can extract the physical TMDs through a perturbative matching.…”

“…(A.13). The four-loop perturbative expression of κ(b T , µ) was recently calculated in [63,64], and its nonperturbative analysis can be found in [65,66] and the preliminary nonperturbative numerical simulation in lattice QCD is presented in [67][68][69].…”
