Abstract:We report on the successful synthesis of Bi1−xSbx alloys via mechanical alloying followed by sintering via spark plasma sintering, and the study of their lattice dynamics by Raman spectroscopy as well as their transport and thermoelectric properties. We observed an upshift of the frequency of the Raman-active Eg vibrational mode with increasing Sb content but no significant change for the frequency of the Raman-active A1g vibrational mode. Conversely, the linewidth of the Eg vibrational mode did not change sig… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
