Abstract:The effectivity of optical micro‐pattern generation and the quality of pattern reproduction can be increased, when the patterns are recorded in layer systems being designed by the principle of “induced resonance total absorption”. By way of example it is shown for a radiation‐sensitive material suitable for optical disc recording, recently published, that with such layer systems the energy threshold can be lowered for the write‐in of the patterns and high optical contrasts are achievable in read out.
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
