Abstract:Phenotypic plasticity of vascular smooth muscle cells (VSMCs) under stress is believed to be a key factor in neointima formation. Lactate dehydrogenase A (LDHA), a key enzyme for glycolysis, has been demonstrated to promote the proliferation and migration of VSMCs.
