LDPC Decoding with Limited-Precision Soft Information in Flash Memories

Abstract: This paper investigates the application of low-density parity-check (LDPC) codes to Flash memories.Multiple cell reads with distinct word-line voltages provide limited-precision soft information for the LDPC decoder.
